KOT ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING, INC.(KOT-ECI) is currently making available its expertise in groundwater management and planning with communities located in sub-regional areas where little or no ground water information is available. This expertise can help communities optimize groundwater use and sustainability through management of shallow unconfined aquifer systems.

KOT-ECI has developed analytical techniques that use all currently available stratigraphic information to define the community’s aquifer system. The results are used to estimate the answers to the following questions that are required for successful groundwater resource management.

  • Where is the water?
  • How much water is available?
  • Is the supply of water sustainable?

The characteristics of the defined aquifer system provide the basis of developing a groundwater flow model to estimate the response of the aquifer system in cause and effect scenarios. These characteristics can be used to design and implement a monitoring program l to provide additional information to increase the representativety of the flow model and to observe the effectiveness of implemented sustainability efforts.

KOT-ECI is eager to work with you to plan and implement your groundwater resource management project. As a client, you receive individual attention with customized programs and solutions. Before becoming a client, use KOT-ECI as a resource for answering questions during the initial planning stages of your next groundwater resource project.
